Money matters. It’s as simple as that. The way we seek, store up, spend, or struggle over money shapes our lives and that of our world in profound ways. Money expresses our values and extends our visions. It exhilarates us and exhausts us. We fight for it, fight over it, and fight with it. Other than God, there is no other power that has such capacity to slake us, make us, or break us than money does. So how do we handle the many money matters that confront us every day? As the bills and financial statements pile up and the stock market moves up and down, how should we be thinking about money? How do we view subjects like debt and saving? What should we spend our money on or give our resources to? Are there any particular disciplines of investment that pay a higher yield than others? If these topics intrigue you, then join us for this provocative series of messages on what the Bible has to say about managing money for all its worth.
